With over 25 years of experience in public affairs and public policy, Brian Francis is a strategic communications expert who helps membership organizations build effective advocacy programs. While President of Lumin Strategies, he launched Advocacy Framework, a signature program that enables organizations to influence public policy, increase revenue, and strengthen their membership base.
Brian is also a faculty member of the Institute of Organization Management, the professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where he instructs classes on government affairs, coalition building, and candidate endorsement. He has a track record of facilitating award-winning processes, directing successful communication strategies, and managing vendor selection and contract negotiation. He is passionate about finding a way, being curious and not judgmental, and working to live, not living to work.
